A Different Place

You know how I complained about having a few very slow months? Yeah, that is coming back to bite me in the rear. In my life, I have long slow times followed by everything happening at once. In this instance I have two family visits (brother followed by grandparents), a project I'm finishing up, potentially 4 stories headed my way, and what little of a social life that I have thanks to the 20s30s group at church.

Currently, I am prepping the apartment for my boss' return. As you can imagine, being a bachelor after all, it is a bit messy...and my boss is a bit OCD. It will take me the entire week to get it up to par. It will be back down to the little room for me. Yet, I will not be there long. For if everything goes according to plan, I will be on the road for 4-5 weeks (max). With the missionary retreat being in Italy and me lacking any serious travel, I thought it would be a good idea to pick up a story...or 4. I already have to make my own way back to Brussels, so why not? But it can be hard to have faith that these will actually happen. We have reached out to others before offering them my services and its only met with silence. What I do is still viewed as a novelty by most churches and ministries. So I kind of have to push a little to get this moving.

Let me tell you, my stress is running a little high. But it is that good kind of stress. It is the kind that affirms that I am alive and that my life no longer festers with stagnation. More happened in this one month than all of last year. Ok, that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but you get the idea. Not only am I physically in a different place, but mentally as well. I'm just better. I am more of who I am supposed to be. That changing is far from over.

Anyway, please keep me in your prayers. Please pray that these 4 churches invite me in to tell their stories and that more ministries here will cooperate and collaborate with me.
